Jason Rodriguez

Jason’s passion for building is in his blood. As soon as he could walk, Jason was soaking up knowledge from three prior generations. Assisting alongside his grandfather and great grandfather framing houses well into their 80s and working for his father’s small GC firm every summer and winter in college solidified this passion.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, Jason moved to Los Angeles working with commercial builders, Pankow and HC Beck. Jason then turned to high-end residential and worked for Peter McCoy Construction for 9 years, managing over $300M of the highest quality estates ever built alongside iconic architects & designers such as Tadao Ando, Peter Marino and David Kleinberg. In 2012, Jason founded JRC Group Inc. with the vision to bring complete transparency, unparalleled efficiency and the highest level of professionalism and quality to the luxury, custom residential building industry.

THE GROUP

JRC MISSION Statement

We manage a complex process, providing value and transparency to our clients, allowing them to enjoy a collaborative and positive experience

building their most precious and personal asset.

Our Core ValueS

  • Passion – “We are Builders” and this hunger drives us to be better, constantly improving and progressing our knowledge and processes toward reaching our full potential. It’s passion that holds our standards high.

  • Collaboration Making others around us successful makes JRC successful. The strength of our team does not only lie in our combined experience and expertise but our ability to trust each other, no matter what the circumstances. We know that our best work is not produced by individuals but by enjoying collaboration as a team and supporting each other every day. This team mentality also extends to our clients, colleagues and subs, as we approach every business relationship as a partnership and work collaboratively with each other to meet our goals.

  • Transparency – We are an open book of communication and inclusiveness invoking insight and growth, within the company and with clients, consultants and peers. Honesty is the best policy. Transparent communication means being respectful of timelines and budgets, being up front when errors occur, and taking ownership of everything we do. There is no question too small or too big, no opinion that should not be expressed, and no idea that should be ignored. Everyone has a voice and is encouraged to use it.

  • Humility – Big egos do not reside here.  We are respectful, truthful and confident but never arrogant. Humility reminds us to work with our colleagues, clients and peers and not against them. Humility is the most indispensable attribute of being an effective team player.

  • Quality – Everything we create and manage, from documentation to field craftsmanship, has been carefully and thoughtfully engineered to the very highest standards. Quality for us means maintaining rigorous standards for all our work, no matter how big or small the project. We care deeply about our work, about providing excellent customer service, and we truly care about managing expectations and achieving results for our clients.

  • Fun – Fulfilling our vision requires an intense focus, so we believe it is important to not take ourselves too seriously and try to have some fun while doing it. We work hard and play hard, investing in community and company events that help our employees and their families feel a connection to JRC beyond business as usual.
